Using the moulds, which didn't work very well, I cut the hull shape out of 22mm ply.  With Will helping we then turned the boat the right way up and into the moulds.  As the moulds did not fit as well as we'd hoped we covered the relevant parts of the hull in rubble sack and then used 'No More Gaps' to fill the misfits.  The result was and extremely strong and positive hold for the boat.

You can see from the picture the expanding foam filling the final gaps.

Once the boat was secure I removed the side deck.  Biggest pain so far was removing 44 brass screwsd from the gunwales on each side!!  Once these were remove I screwed in place bracing struts across the boat.  These were accurately measured at the points where the internal bulkheads will go later.

With the boat braced I continued to remove the foredeck and then finally the transom.  Taking the transom off whole was important to create an accurate template for the new one.
