The rubbing strips were fitted, and this was the boats first visit outside, and out of its jigs. We needed to do this to angle the boat. This enabled us to pile weights onto the angled deck to hold in place whilst the glue set.
Top tip - use masking tape around all your fillets and areas to glue, it saves a hell of a lot of time sanding off epoxy over spill!
