The 22nd to the 25th was spent finishing the inside and epoxying it.  It was then time to turn the boat over and spend as much time as I could fairing the bottom.  First I had to put the hog strips back on the bottom of the centreboard case, and then fix a few other areas of delamination.

The long board I made for fairing the hull was two bits of 5mm expoxied together with small battens on the end, and a pair of cheap door knobs glued on.  I then cut strip of a roll of oxide paper and stapled them on.  It was a weapon of personal torture, but worth it in the end!!!

 

The right hand side as you look at the picture has been faired for about five hours.
